⏸ Macroeconomics on pause for the day off

The U.S. markets are closed today. The U.S. is celebrating its major national holiday, Independence Day.

The general picture is the same: stock markets have calmed down and are approaching an important level (4500 on the S&P 500). Crypto markets are also on hold. Important statistics are coming out in the next few days, so the markets are waiting. First will be the Fed reports tomorrow, then US labor market data on Thursday and Friday. The probability of a Fed rate hike in July is currently estimated at 90%; let's see how it is affected by the new data.

Analyzing crypto market expectations, crowd sentiment has approached the zone of extreme greed. Usually, such levels are found near local tops in the middle of 2021; in other words, temporary rate pullbacks are possible in the next week.

Twitter user @belizardd made a cameo and told everyone in detail how he made $25M in over a year. His tweet got almost 300k views. His main idea is copy trading, which is a standard service offered on many exchanges to copy trades from other reputable traders. The only important difference with @belizardd is that it offers only whales to follow on the public blockchain and copy trades.

The guy provides 14 whale addresses that he has personally copied trades for:

Among these wallets are many stars of the crypto world, though there are some anonymous whales as well. In his thread, he also provides performance metrics for each individual wallet.

The open nature of blockchain gives such unique possibilities for copy trading that are hard to imagine in other areas of trading outside of the crypto world. But while the proposed method beckons with simplicity, be very careful.

In addition to this collection as a live example, we take note of another whale who trades at no loss in ETH. Onchain monitoring shows that last night this smart whale with a winrate of 100 percent again bought 8,166 ETH on Binance for $15.68 million, probably preparing to long Ethereum.
